Special effects & laser show at Electric Sea Festival

The 17th of October 2015 the HanseMesse in Rostock trembled for the first time at the Electric Sea Dance Festival. The smaller brother of the big Airbeat-One Festival attracted thousands of party people to come to the biggest hall in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. Together with Music Eggert, GoPlus1 and the light operator Sebastian Heise, Bocatec could set off a lot of fire, pyrotechnics, CO2, confetti and laser to make the crowd uproar.

The decision between the three dance floors wasn’t easy for the dance-crazy people. A total of twenty acts appeared on stage and on the turntables and revived the passed Airbeat-One summer. As headliners the megastar DJs “Fedde Le Grand” and “Moguai”were in the lineup. Another main act – “Headhunterz” made the crowd freak out. But what would the party be without the suiting light effects and a great surrounding show? Only the visual effects send the revelers to a higher party dimension.

Bocatec and other experts on site cared for this. Bocatec brought up the big guns with 40 watt laser equipment for a giant laser show. Pyrotechnics of course was also ready, over 150 pyro effects were shoot by Bocatecin the form of jets, comets and fountains. For fiery sixteen gas projectors produced shiny flame balls and hot flame columns . Fizzy CO2 Power Shots by Magic FX took the cake. For the real festival feeling Bocatec fired masses of confetti and streamer all over the place into the cheering party crown. The confetti stadium shots were fully demanded. Music Eggert cared for the other light effects. Furthermore there was a huge LED screen. That is how event technics rocks: fire up a lot of special effects and celebrate a great show together with the worlds famous DJs.

Super laser show with water projection screen in hambourg

In Mai suddenly thunder, lightning and rain gathered inside the chamber of commerce in Hamburg – a thunderstorm of laser in front of a huge water screen. There was really tension in the air at this evening because an innovative middle class company presented its latest innovation to the 500 invited guests.

The completely new developed product completes the broad competence range of the system supplier. Therewith the company does not only revolutionize the market within this division, but also exceeded all expectations with the fulminant laser show and the water wall in Hamburg.

Second show

Bocatec staged for the customer already the company jubilee in 2014. This time the customer wanted an 80 m² water screen for video projections in addition to the impressive laser show. Another challenge for Bocatec: finding the right music for the whole show, cutting and programming it synchronously to the show effects.

After the first claps of thunder and lightnings a 10m wide and 8m high water screen spanned in front of the stage. It was recorded with videos from the backside with three 15.000 ANSI-Lumen video projectors. Five colored and illuminated water fountains shot from the stage up into the air. 13 RGB laser with all together 200W white light power, 6 fog machines, a MGD hazer, 20 sharpys and 8 SGM Q7 flood lights fulminated together with the selected music and got the audience in a flap. Bocatec controlled the whole show via the PHOENIX show controller. The trend-setting product and the futuristic show elements fitted perfectly together and thrilled the spectators of the laser and water show. The customer was very happy about the felicitous market entry.

Hanseatic snow magic

Within the pre-christmas period Gustafsen delights its customers and all passerbys now with a special

snow happening

. Starting the St Nicholas’ Day and running until the 26^th of December the Villa Gustafsen will be snowed over with the help of four laser projectors by Bocatec. The flakes trickle made of light over the dignified face of the building as they were real. The

snow fun

takes place every evening from 4-10 pm. Additionally the villa is illuminated in shiny colors. A spectacle for old and young that brings in Christmas mood and makes the villa the sparkling center of the street.

Bocatec installed the technics so that the snow event runs completely without personal, thus self-sufficient and automatically.

Not only the staff and the management of Gustafsen are fascinated by the beautiful atmosphere, also the Hamburg people love the illumination made by Bocatec.

Bocatec creates polar sky for discoverer spa

The 22. June 2014 a very special bathing experience thrills the young and old visitors of the Baltic Sea Resorts in Damp. The new discoverer spa has some surprises to offer. On the ceiling of the indoor swimming pool Bocatec created as highlight a 3D polar sky, which can now be admired by everyone.

The modern discoverer spa does not only promise fun and action but also wants its visitors to discover the culture and nature of the Baltic Sea. For example the kids can experiment and research themselves in the adventure children’s pool. Several discovery, science and event cubes and a gorgeous view onto the real Sea invite to be amazed. Even the 29° degree warm inside pool is shaped like the Baltic Sea. A sauna Viking village with sprinkles of water on the heated stone, herbal and event actions, a 97 meter long slide with light projections and LED effects and the event catering for spa and sauna visitors leave no wish unfulfilled.

Polar light live and in color
Unique and the very special eye-catcher is the polar light on the spa ceiling. Surprisingly realistic the 3D polar sky enchants the spa guest. The complex laser projection was installed permanently by Bocatec for the discovery bath. Different polar sky variations were programmed. In the evening hours the polar light appears on the spa ceiling. A great idea. Bocatec wishes much success and thrilled discoverers.

Lübeck, august 2012: On the occasion of the opening of the furniture store KABS in Lübeck Bocatec projected a guerilla marketing logo by order of the agency Orange Cube Werbeagentur GmbH. The projection was done with a Piko 14 RGB laser onto the holsten gate (Holstentor), the furniture shop Kabs and the roof of the Petri church.

Water screen on ART WEEK Hamburg 2012

Bocatec supports the agency EDWARD´Z Hamburg, host of the ART WEEK Hamburg 2012 with a giant water, hydro shield. With 3500 liter water per minute our pump shot the spectacular water shield into the sky on the small Alster lake. The mange artist Kanjo Také used the huge water screen for his pictures, that were projected by Bocatec as staged animations. At nightfall the colorful and pin sharp manga pictures excited the audience.

The 30 meter wide and 15 meter high water shield melted into the background setting of the Alster arcades to an unique scenery of the superlatives. For this big picture projection we used our Eiki-Beamer with 15.000 ANSI-Lumen. Despite rain, wind and surrounding light the back projection satisfied not only the artist. Art lovers and passerbys were attracted magically. For years Bocatec works together closely with artists. Because also multimedia shows or video projections are a kind of art and can’t be ordered off the peg. Creativity and another point of view belong to our business, like for the artists too.

No matter if art, pictures or videos – a combination with the element water is a highlight again and again.

Bocatec kicks through Blue Goals for the World Championship

During the soccer world championship 2006 the shiny blue goals decorated the cityscape of Hamburg for 4 weeks. As eye-catches the 165 light installations got Hamburg in the mood for the mega event. Every night Bocatec shoot laser beams symbolically onto the goals and hit the mark without end.

The Blue Goals lightened up the entire Hamburg because many companies put up their own blue goal. Amongst others the goals shined from the building of ECE project management, the publishing house Gruner + Jahr, the Axel-Springer-building, the airport Hamburg, the central mosque or from the hotel Atlantic. One blue Goal overstretched even the rail tracks of the Hamburg subway near the St. Pauli-gangways, so that the trains of the line „U3“ drove through the goal. The biggest goal with 50 x 80 m was installed by Blohm + Voss at the dry dock. Even the Hamburg Miniature Wonderland put up a mini goal inside its exhibition.

Bocatec kicks and scores
Eight laser locations on the highest buildings and urban emblems of Hamburg were reserved for Bocatec. From these the Bocatec laser experts fired every night from 11pm on for one hour laser beams onto the goals that were up to 4 km distance away. From the Mundsburg towers in the center of Hamburg the lasers reached almost every goal. Thanks to Bocatec Hamburg got countless direct hits. Even inside the famous touristic attraction – the Miniature Wonderland Bocatec installed two lasers for the mini goals and thus delighted the visitors. As special highlight the artist Michael Batz could also control the laser beams via sms himself.

The next world championship will come for sure
The 30th September 2006, after the crazy soccer summer, Hamburg bid solemnly farewell to the lovely blue light goals. After a concert and a firework above the Alster Bocatec looks forward to the next huge event in Hamburg.
