For a yacht project we did the concept for the party deck. Therefor we also realized visualization for the basin on deck. LEDs on deck and fountains inside the basin spray water synchronously to the music played.
Completely without articial snow or snow cannon Bocatec heralded snow magic also in mild winter nights – with laser snowflakes! On a house facade of a chancellery in Hamburg the virtual snow fell despite the warm temperature.
In collaboration with Nordlight-Events Bocatec cared for the laser snow sprinkling in January 2011 – for a highlight in dark times of the year. Four 1,6W RGB lasers made the permanent snowfall of white laser-flakes possible. The outside walls of the villa were additionally illuminated in beautiful colors. In the video you can see how realistic the programming of the laser let the snowflakes fall around the windows and doors. Such a laser event awakes winter feelings and is THE nighty winter wonder in every neighborhood.
For a photo production a laser grid was needed which we realized with the help of 532nm green diodes from 100mW.
For the quick and simple handling we mounted single diodes together with the suiting drivers onto an aluminum plate. The power supply of 230V on 9V/1,1A came over a wall power supply.
To fix the position of the beams easily we also fixed Manfrotto clips on the plate.

On 4th April 2010 the Bocatec team rebuilt the club “Garage” in Luneburg completely for an event. In just two days Bocatec equipped the “Garage” with a stage rack made of truss with 3 RGB white and 4 green lasers, 16 moving heads, as well as video technics and flamers. To give you an impression, we kept some moments in moving pictures:
Unter dem Motto “Hamburg. Eine Metropole wird zum Erlebnis” präsentierte die Handelskammer Hamburg am 21. April 2010 in den Börsensälen wer und was Hamburg zu der TOP-Eventlocation macht. Bocatec zeigte dafür auf seinem Stand die neuste Laser- und Projektionstechnik.
Since 2004 Bocatec assists the Chamber of Commerce at this event with individual laser shows in HD quality. But this year Bocatec was present with an own trade show booth in the bourse rooms and surprised the visitors additionally with an invisible fog wall when they left the building. On the wall Bocatec projected pictures and logos and the guests had to go through these. Organizers and guest were excited about the possibilities of this magic projection surface.
On 30 booths the visitors made valuable customer and industry contacts between 15.30 pm and 20.30 pm. culinary specialties and a show program under the motto: Music in town“ framed the event. A part of the entry fee was donated to the foundation competitive sports Hamburg.
